This itinerary is a great and relaxing experience in the Bermuda and Bahamas areas. Half of the trip is spent on land, and half at sea, so there is a great balance. Nine nights allow ample time to learn the ship and fully adapt to the vacation lifestyle. The ship seemed to be good for all ages--seniors, families, children, couples and singles.

So the ship is a little older--so what? It is a good medium size with many typical RC activities and well decorated with elegant art displays throughout. There is a busy casino, a nightly show (singers, dancers, comedians), a great indoor adult pool area, special children's centers, a late night dance disco, the popular Centrum, lots of deck space, movies by the pool, and so much more! Art auctions, dance lessons, rock climbing, shopping talks, karaoke, and other activities make the days pass too quickly.

The people on this ship were fantastic- the accessible and ever-present Captain Thor, the sassy and energetic Cruisin' Susan activities director, our charming room attendant, and our lovely and sweet dining room waitstaff. The buffet dining areas were always full of a variety of food displays and the restaurants always featured great delicious choices. (However, the coffee could be improved and the lemonade was sometimes too watery.)

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

The cabin is quite compact but everything anyone needs is carefully and strategically squeezed in place. The closets and drawer spaces are good for storing all clothes. The TV has a bright screen and swivels for easy viewing. The bed was a good size but the pillows were lumpy. The bathroom shower is tiny and the curtain must be put in place or water will flood the floor. The suitcases do not fit under the bed. Overall, a comfortable and tolerable room for sleeping and dressing.

Port Reviews

Baltimore

A good and convenient home port with easy and reasonable parking. No need to go in to the city, but if one chooses to do so, the Inner Harbor is chock full of great dining.

Nassau

We went shopping and then to the nearby British Colonial Hilton for the day. So lovely and relaxing---great pool, beach, food and service!
