Sail Date: Aug 2017

We chose this ship because of the Cuba itinerary. We had a wonderful experience. It is a refurbished, older, smaller ship but they did a very nice job. We knew the rooms would be smaller but it was nice and clean. The staff was great - friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the cruise director. You get to know more people on a smaller ship. I have cruised 33 times and the food on this ship was very good. The pool is small but we never felt crowded except the one cruising afternoon. The theater never felt over crowded. They even served lobster tails one night. The larger ships have done away with that tradition. We wanted a "do over" because we enjoyed the week so much. They encourage people to exchange currency in Cuba but we found it was not necessary (you cannot exchange it back). The tours were very nice - all new and nice buses. Those who went out at night felt very safe. We felt like the people were happy to have us there.

Cabin Review

Cabin ocean view

Small but nice. Adequate. At the back of the ship. Bolero Lounge is below so some noise (music) on some nights. I had ear plugs.
