I have been on several Norwegian cruises and enjoyed this cruise to Cuba and Bahamas. Ship is much smaller and a bit outdated from the other cruises, but I was expecting it to be like that. Open bar was great, tons of drink selections to choose from. Some of the bar staff were rude when asking for beverages. The cabin was fairly small (8353) and the toilet area smelled very bad. My other friend in the room next door 8352 mentioned their room smelled like greasy fried food. Food was great, had different cuisines each night in the buffet, steak, mexican, carribean, and cuban. When reached Cuba, process was little slow. We booked a car tour online few weeks before the cruise through Ariel and Enersto. They have two of their very own 1940s red car. They are faboulous tour guides and took us all over the city, I would really recommend them as a guide. At night we saw the tropicana show which was AWESOME, highly recommend it and don't purchase it through the ship, go on the actual website http://www.cabaret-tropicana.com/en/book/ and choose offer 2 which gives a better view and it comes with a good bottle of rum and cigars for men. The second day in Havana we went to the beach santa maria and the water was amazing, the sand was bit dirty, so just be aware where you step. They serve food and drinks which were very good. Last day in Bahamas we booked excursions through the ship snorkeling and jetsking which were amazing, recommend it. Make sure to bring tons of sunscreen, sun is very hot there.
