The entire trip starting with our arrival in Paris was fantastic. The entire Viking family takes service to the highest level. Every member of the Rolf's crew went out of their way to insure the passengers had all of their needs met. We enjoyed the fact that the menu had items that were common foods in the local region. Also since their were passengers with a wide range of ages and fitness Viking insured that there were shore excursions for people of every fitness level. Also, Viking uses local guides that live in the area not guides that traveled with the ship and read out of a tour book so they are able to answer almost any question based on first hand knowledge. Since there are only about 185 passengers this was a great opportunity to meet people from all over the US and make new friends. The departure was also handled very well, a Viking employee accompanied passengers until you reached the security checkpoint at the airport to assist if there were any issues. We have already booked our next Viking cruise.
