Went on this cruise with friends who had previously cruised a European Viking river cruise. We wanted to see areas close to where our ancestors had come from, including Germany, and the Netherlands. The history and educational aspect was part of the reason for cruising, and we can say the entire trip was fascinating! The food was exceptional, and the servers very attentive. They even made sure to inform my husband if there were pine nuts in the recipes, so he could avoid them. The room was always clean, and water replenished daily. The laundry was back to our room in a timely manner. ONE thing that might have improved the trip would have been if there was self serve laundry, so we wouldn't have had to wash in the sink and drape clothes around the room! Our expectations were exceeded. We are anxiously looking forward to our next cruise, this November, to the West Indies!
