This was our first cruise and WOW what a start!! We booked a 14 day package. This included 7 day hotel stay at the beautiful Crowne Plaza, Orlando and 7 night western Caribbean cruise. Our transfer from the Hotel was quick and easy to Port Canaveral, enjoying the scenery along the way. The minute we saw the Freedom of the seas at the Port, we were excited. What a great looking ship! Our embarkment was a bit long winded, but once aboard we stood open mouthed at the beautiful decor and of the sheer size of this wonderful cruise liner. Our cabin was a balcony stateroom. Cabin Review

Our cabin was a balcony stateroom. This was a spacious with a comfy, queen sized bed. sofa bed and dressing table with chair. The decor is modern with art work fitting of the room. The flat screen TV was an impressive accessory and adjustable to suit the viewer. A coffee table was in the centre of the room. The bathroom, although small, was smart and clean with all the necessaries needed for the stay. The shower was small but powerful, more so than my own one at home (I miss it!!) The clothing space was adequate and also housed the safe which was perfect for our needs. We did not experience any unwanted noise from the hallway or either neighbour. I will however, mention the sliding door these seemed to be very noisy at times, I cringed when I opened it in case it upset anyone else, but it seemed everyone near us was the same so perhaps this could be sorted. balcony was excellent no complaints here.
