This was our second Viking River Cruise. The hotels for our pre and post cruise were excellent, the activities were well managed and our guide was better than we could have ever expected. The Viking Emerald was a very comfortable boat, the cabins were good and comfortable., the food was delicious, well served by an attentive staff. The hotel staff was very efficient and saw to all our needs.

Even the entertainment show put on by the boat's crew members was truly enjoyable and memorable.

The shore excursions were interesting, informative and enjoyable. The use of the listening devices added much to the enjoyment of the shore excursions. We experienced a different culture and met some very interesting people both on the boat and on the land. In particular, the school visit was quite entertaining and enjoyable. Read more
