Upon arriving at the airport, we were shuttled off directly to the ship. The captain took us on an extra special cruise down the river that evening, past the Hungarian Parlament buildings Which were all lit up for the night. They are spectacular. We came back along, under the bridges where hundreds of spectators were lined up on the bridges waving to us all. Was something special.

The cruise is something special from beginning to end. The staff are extra special, especially the waiters. Also, the head chef arranged a shopping trip to a local market, where he introduced us to a few of his favorite stalls and vendors. One put out samples of various examples of his wares and drinks for us to try.

Of course the history in Europe is unbelievable and the trip along the Danube with all the castles was especially interesting as our cruise director, Ben, gave an exceptional commentary of it all as we sailed passed.
