We sailed through incredible areas dotted with vineyards, castles and tiny villages many of which were still surrounded by mideival walls. Such peaceful beauty. We also stopped in big cities, Nuremberg, Vienna and Budapest. In those cities we found incredible museums and history to explore.

Each day we participated in the included tours, led by English speaking local guides who love their cities and loved showing it off to us. Twice we also signed up for optional tours. A concert in Vienna was superb, far exceeded our expectations. The balance between tours and free time to explore on our own was just right for us.

The food on the boat is incredible. My husband is gluten free and I am a vegetarian. The staff always made sure we were happy with our options.

So clean we could have thought we were the first ones to stay in it. Comfortable bed. We enjoyed the on-board movie selection. And WiFi allowed us to stay in touch with relatives back home
