Sail Date: Aug 2017

Having watched the Meraviglia being built at the STX shipyard in St. Nazaire in France, also having never sailed MSC before we thought we would book a 7 day cruise from Genoa. Embarkation was smooth, on board in 30 minutes. As we walked on board the first part you notice is the fabulous Sky LED screen, really amazing. As we had prepaid the 3 meal packages, Eataly, Butchers Cut and the dinner and Cirque de Soleil show, we booked dates and times straight away.

We then explored the ship, the Swarkowski staircase is absolutely amazing, beautiful. The public lounges are well designed and decorated. The Market Place Buffet was very busy with lots of Italian and Spanish families on board. Similarly the pool area was very busy and not many empty sun loungers were available.

Our stateroom was soon available on Deck 13, found to be tastefully decorated, large king sized bed with really comfortable mattress and pillows guaranteeing a good nights sleep.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

Well designed cabin, bathroom could be a little bigger, very comfortable bed.
