We choose this 14-day cruise because it touched on all the highlights we wanted to see on our first trip through Europe. Additionally, we did a pre and post cruise extended stay. The pre-cruise stay was in Prague. The post-cruise stay was in Amsterdam. Both are beautiful cities and the hotels that Viking put us in were first class.

I get seasick on the ocean, but not rivers or lakes. Thus, a river cruise was a great option.

We took advantage of most of the optional excursions and can't really choose a favorite. They were all fantastic in their own ways.

Deluxe Stateroom

Cabin E

I have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world for both business and pleasure. When traveling for pleasure I choose safe, but low cost hotels because I want to be out engulfed in the culture and people of the country I'm visiting, not in my room. Thus, we choose the cheapest stateroom offered. That said, it was immaculate and our room stewarts always kept it that way. My hat's off to them!
