This was our third cruise with Viking...and each one has been superb. Excellent accommodations, fantastic food, diverse and entertaining places to go, see and do.
Viking caters to adult travelers... so don't expect to see young children. There have been several teens on our trips who were well educated and well spoken. We have enjoyed their company.
My wife has limited ability to walk, so we travel with a light-weight transporter chair. It was very easy to use the chair on board. The crew assisted every time in getting on and off the ship. The chair was difficult, but possible, in some locations because of cobble stone pavement.
At our request, we had a cabin just off the reception area. In that way, we didn't have long walks, or pushes of the wheel chair, to get to and from the cabin.
The skipper was the most helpful of any we have experienced. He took a personal approach, greeting folks each time we departed and when we returned. He regularly helped passengers... often passed out water or refreshments.

Fascinating trip to an old, old farm with new purpose. Apple orchards maintained by sheep, patroled by a sheep dog. Apples used to make cider and other fermented beverages. Biggest surprise of the entire trip because it was so unexpected.View All undefined undefined Reviews

The cruise line got us past the long entry line, but there still was not enough time to really see this fantastic site.View All 64 Versailles Reviews
