My husband and I chose this ship after seeing the PBS special, "Ultimate Cruise Ship." We were sorely disappointed, though, especially given the cost of this cruise. You'd expect that an average cost of $2,000 per day for the two of us would have resulted in exceptional service and food. Wrong! Not only was the food institutional quality, but the service on the ship was only average. We even had a malfunctioning toilet the entirety of the cruise (it would fill up to the very top with water if not flushed every 3-4 hours). We also had a serious problem with the excursions. We booked way ahead of time only to find that the destinations team re-booked us on several excursions that overlapped with other excursions during the day. When we inquired about getting our existing tour, we were told they were sold out. What a huge, huge disappointment and point of frustration on what was supposed to be a luxury cruise. Outside of the beautifully furnished cruise ship and public areas, this is not a luxury cruise. Don't waste your hard-earned money!

Nice big room and bathroom. Small bed (queen size). Toilet does not function and was never fixed properly the entirety of the cruise!!!
