We were already in Rome and wanted a cruise that left from there. We decided on this cruise because is was 12 days and went to spots that we have never been before and wanted to see. We also like port intensive cruises as we like to visit new places.
The food was excellent but I wish this ship had more dining options. We went to the 8 o'clock show one night and waited to go to dinner in the Lido and didn't realize that it closed at 8:30 so we were stuck with pizza as the pasta line was too long.
The entertainers were very good but the shows were not as elaborate as the other cruises we have been on. I would have enjoyed a bit more splash.

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
Our cabin was spacious, and the TV was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space.
Port Reviews
Florence (Livorno)
We went into Livorno on a Sunday. If we had know that so much would be closed we would have taken an excursion.
Corsica (Ajaccio)
By far one of our favorite ports. We took their little train and spent time in the town and had a great lunch and shopping
Almeria
It was ok port and we just walked around
Monaco (Monte Carlo)
Loved Monaco and we just walked around and went to lunch. We were there until 11 PM at night so we enjoyed the ship in the afternoon and evening and our balcony which faced the city.

We bought a two day hop on hop off bus tour.
We stayed an extra day and liked Barcelona but it was very crowded and someone tried to pick my husbands pocket
