Embarkment on and off the ship was outstanding, organized and well run. The ship, although aged, was still nice, always clean, and well kept. The main dining room had great food most nights. Some of us ordered two main entrees or two appetizers which was great. The on-board entertainment and activities was good but I've had better. The service was exceptional. Employees work extra hard to ensure your cruise is a memorable one. The Ports and Shore excursions were OK. Sitka is a small port with not much to do. Juneau was raining and foggy so we missed our excursion taking a glider plane to the Taku lodge to see the Glacier. Ketchikan was a great city to explore but we had a limited time to try to fit in excursions and shopping. Be sure to visit Creek street for awesome shops! If I were to do an Alaskan cruise again, I would be sure to go during their summer months and choose a date late July or early August. Our cruise on August 13th was off season and rainy.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

We received outstanding service from our Concierge Stateroom attendant. Loved the size of our balcony. Bathroom did have an odor that was odd (not due to lack of cleanliness). And we were unable to control the temp in the room despite having the thermostat down as low as possible. Ship is 17 years old and tired.
