This is my first cruise and so I did not know what to expect. I think overall, it was possible to find good food, and it is always possible to find a lively activity or a more quiet one. I didn't have much expectation, and it was what I expected I guess - everything was right up the middle of the road. Not really anything terrible, not really anything amazing.

Dining. The pizza was just about as good as any pizza I can get at those crafty pizza places that have become popular over the past several years. It was delicious. Other standouts included the Guy Fieri burgers and I personally liked the deli. Dinner was sub-par, but the service was excellent, and so we never missed a night. Pretty much everything else was not up to snuff. Some reviewers liked Blue Iguana. I can't say much about it, other than that the staff were nice.

Ship. There were three pools - one that was adults only, and that was the most quiet one. The one underneath the water slide ended up becoming mostly a teenager hangout. And the main pool, the one under the movie screen was where my kids ended up spending the most time. There are no shallow pools, so if your kids are not strong swimmers, keep an eye on them! Read more
