We did this cruise last year in October and inquired about availability of getting married on board. NCL do a great job with special occasions and our co-ordinator Luis was an absolute diamond. Firstly when arriving at Barcelona port and getting aboard the process was so smooth and we had been kidding our grandchildren that we would be able to board before they actually did as we had cruised with NCL previously. However they in fact boarded shortly before us as we were told to sit in a designated area and had a ships officer approach us greeting us personally and taking us to the front of the queue were we were speedily boarded in front of a huge queue.

When aboard the ships officer explained everything that was going to happen and even inquired as to were the rest of the party was and after we explained he was sorry as he wanted us all to board together, however we were not fussed as we had all boarded very quickly the most speediest ever in our case,

We all finished up meeting and going for lunch and a drink whilst awaiting our cabin readiness which again was rather quick as an hour after boarding I wandered to our state room only to find it all ready. Read more
