This cruise reminded me a lot of NiagraFalls. Outstanding natural beauty spoiled by a commercial circus. I couldn't believe that the ship actually sponsors seminars on how to spend your money on jewelry when in port. Frequently tables filled with t-shirts and costume jewelry were set up in the central area of the ship. At the northern ports (Skagway, Ketchikan, Juno) there is little to do but visit countless shady jewelry stores and souvenir shops. The excursions are nice but grossly overpriced for what you get. The ship itself is clean, the staff are nice and the food is good (not great). The entertainment was pretty sparse and of poor quality compared to other cruises. The evening broadway style shows were quite short and very very loud. The magician really needs to learn some new tricks! The only show that was really good was a comedian. I will never sail with Princess again!
