Chose this cruise strictly for itinerary. We are Cdn 60's, 16 previous cruises on Carnival, RCL, Celebrity and NCL - first time on Princess.
We flew Air Canada Toronto to Heathrow and spent 2 nights at the lovely St. James Court in London. Took Princess shuttle to Southampton port. Embarkation seemed slower than necessary but debarkation was very efficient.
Caribe cabin 742 was a decent size with a large balcony near AFT portside. New bed was very comfortable. This was our 17th cruise, on the largest ship but big disappointment in the smallest shower. We aren't big people but very awkward. Steward Roel was most efficient and friendly without being intrusive.
C742 located last cabin on port side. New beds are terrific. Quiet location but perhaps a bit more motion AFT but doesn't bother us. Very disappointed in the bathroom - limited storage shelves but worst shower in 17 cruises. Too small for sure - however always plenty of hot water and flow.
