This was a last minute choice as our husbands went to a NASCAR race in Tennessee. This was my first time on Carnival as I have cruised mainly on Royal Caribbean Celebrty and Princess. My friend is an avid cruiser also but has done one or two on Carnival. There were a few things we liked, but many we did not:

We both liked the embarkation and debarkation process. Taking our picture on other cruise lines is a tedious process and Carnival scans your passports/photo id and uses that picture. Moves the lines along.

The food was just OK. The deserts were a big disappointment. We both don't eat deserts too often at home and an indulgence on a cruise is something we looked forward to.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8B

Nice size for a ship and really nice shower. Bedding was a little bit to hard for me, but was fine for the length of the cruis

Port Reviews

Key West

Love Key West....been there many times. We ate breakfast at Blue Heaven - worth the long walk there -- food is EXCELLENT

Miami

Nice port - prettier than Ft. Lauderdale. Easy to get to by car - we live in Ft. Myers and drove over the morning of the cruise.
