Due to the boat breaking down, we missed Cozumel and spent an extra day at sea.

We were a group of 5, in two balcony rooms, selected this cruise due to its departing from New Orleans. The boat broke down in transit from Grand Cayman to Cozumel. They could not fix it in time, so we had to spend an extra day at sea, and all they offered us was a 50.00 per person on board credit. Well boo hoo! We had plans for Cozumel and they act like missing one third of the ports is no big deal, in fact I have called customer service to complain and ask for credit towards next cruise and they said in the contract, fine print of course, they do not have to offer anything and they did not plan to offer anything. If any other cruisers on itinerary has gotten any sort of perk, please let me know and I will try again. Otherwise, I think I am done with Carnival for awhile. The ship is worn, our balcony chairs looked like crap, balcony was tiny - about 5 feet wide - the turn down service and room straightening has decreased to once per day instead of morning and evening, my last cruise on RCC was still twice per day (Oct 2016), so you can tell they are cutting corners to reduce expenditures on board.

My grand daughter enjoyed the O2 Club.
