Sail Date: Aug 2017

Took my first cruise, sailing from Southampton as quite local to my home. Had a lift to the docks so arrived earlier than planned but embarkation was a dream. Nice man took my cases and was directed towards the check-in. Expected to wait a couple of hours as I was way early, but called and booked in within 20 minutes.

Straight onto the ship and had a good look around.

Not long after an announcement told us that all the cabins were ready.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

Cabin seemed very roomy to me but this was my first cruise. Everything clean, bright and crisp. Bathroom very modern with lovely toiletries supplied. Lots of hanging space but not much drawer room for smaller clothes items. Think it might be an issue with two or even three people in a cabin.

The fridge was a nice touch. Full of 'minibar' type items which were all chargeable. Being a non drinker i asked the steward to remove these and used the fridge for water, juice and some drinks i brought with me.
