Our trip on the Conquest was wonderful! My wife and I did our first "kidless" trip in 11 years, and we enjoyed every minute of it!

The ship:

The ship is in good condition for its age. The crew was constantly cleaning, and the ship looked great! The layout was easy to navigate and we rarely stood in line for anything! We opted to save a few bucks and did an interior cabin, which was great for us. Plenty of room to store our things, very comfortable bed, and a great night sleep in the dark. We spent most of the day out and about, and did not miss the balcony like we thought we might.

Cabin 4E

The cabin was nice for interior. Plenty of storage for clothes and toiletries. Was very quiet, close to elevators, but no noise at all.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Embarkation was a breeze. Was on the ship in 30 minutes (during busy time) and did not have faster to the fun.

Grand Turk

We really enjoyed this port. Margaritaville is not cheap, but one large drink did us in! Beach was nice and so was the pool.

Half Moon Cay

This is a beautiful slice of heaven. The clam shell for $16 was worth it! It provided some needed shade in the extreme summer Caribbean sun! The beach water was perfectly clear, and refreshing. We ventured a little further out away from the crowds and kids and really enjoyed relaxing in the water. The free lunch was great, especially all the salads and the jerk chicken!

Nassau

We opted for a resort all inclusive pass to Breeze's resort. We took a taxi, which was interesting. To get out of the port area, it was crowded. He actually bumped another car, they yelled and drove on. Once at the resort, we had a great time. Breezes was $80 pp, and the drinks were delicious and plentiful. They had a grill which made great conch fritters and a huge buffet lunch. They also had soda fountains too. There were several pools, hot tubs, and a beautiful beach. The water was spectacular. We snorkeled on our own, and saw a sea turtle and several fish. We also did the free water sports, and kayaked and used the paddle boats. There was not enough time to do it all, but it was our favorite day. We also shopped quickly in the straw market. Yes they all try to sell to you, and a simple no thank you was all that we needed if we were not interested. We had fun bargaining a little.
