Sail Date: Aug 2017
Cabin: Aqua Class

Enjoyed the Aqua cabin because of the Persian Garden (Turkish Bath and Sauna) and the Aqua dining room as it was more intimate and way less crowded. The food was good in the Aqua Dining room as well. The ship is outdated, but it was well maintained and clean. The cruise ship staff were hard working and attentive to the needs of passengers. Overall, had a great time exploring Alaska during the cruise portion.

We did the post cruise tour and had a wonderful time in Talkeetna, Denali Park and riding the Wilderness Express Train. Loved all the post tour excursions.

Talkeetna Lodge was really nice and well maintained. Beautiful setting and scenery with nice rooms and great service.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A2

The cabin was basic, but clean and did have quite a bit of storage space. The aqua shower head was okay, but nothing special. No overhang over the balcony, so it did get wet. This wasn't a bid deal for us as we enjoyed standing out on the balcony for the views and fresh air. Did seem like we did a lot of walking to get to activities on the ship as this cabin was located in the aft section. Andi, our cabin steward, was attentive and efficient.
