We left from San Juan--no problem there. Embarkation was a breeze. The ship was just so-so. It was a smaller, older ship. Our room was at the very forward of the ship and was a bit rocky at times. We ate all our meals at the buffet. We tried to get the late dinner seating but were told it was full. The early dinner time just did not work out for us. The buffet meals were pretty good. We enjoyed watching the big screen t.v. outside each night. What really attracted us to this cruise was the itinerary--a port each day. However, looking back, I probably would have booked the Royal Caribbean cruise with the lesser ports but nicer ship. We have cruised on RC twice before on their big ships and both really enjoyed them. Here's what we did in ports: St. Thomas--Megan's Bay all the way! Beautiful. Didn't book an excursion, just cabbed it over and we were fine. Price was set. Dominica--Dive Dominica excursion for snorkeling was great! The tour guides were fun. Wasn't a long catamaran to the "Champagne" snorkeling. Antigua--walked around in town, ok. Barbados--walked around in town, ok. St. Lucia--beautiful, did a bus tour. St. Kitts--PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST FUN THINGS I'VE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE-ZIP LINING!! Debarkation was not good. Thought we were going to miss our plane. Would not cruise out of Puerto Rico again. All in all, a 3/5 star experience for us. Probably a good cruise for first-timers.
