We wanted to sail from NY with our kids and granddaughter so we choose this 7 day cruise to Bermuda, it was our first experience on NCL (we typically cruise with RCL and Princess). There were more positives then negatives.

We chose an inside cabin. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. Our room steward did a fine job throughout the voyage. The downside was that the storage was not adequate (no drawers) and the little nooks and crannies made it pretty confusing. The design of the room also made it feel even smaller then other inside cabins we've stayed in.

The food was the best we've had on any ship! We enjoyed two of the complimentary dining rooms, the Pub and, at the request of our granddaughter, the buffet a few of our dinners. We found the food to be very well prepared and delicious. We did not sample any of the many "for fee" restaurants but they looked good and were always busy, more on that later. We enjoyed the beverage package which was comped for the 4 adults (cost of about $100 p.p. for gratuities).
