A friend and I flew from Gatwick to Bergen. The Transfer was smooth and checking in easy, just a short queue. The ship was beautiful and we had a small outside polar cabin, which was perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable. It was a little noisy at night but got used to it after a couple of days.

The food was very good, sometimes too much choice. The set menus were all lovely, and the waiting staff were all very professional. There wasn't much in the way of entertainment (apart from crossing the Arctic circle ceremonies) which was fine by me, as I relished the opportunity to relax, play cards or read a book watching the amazing scenery go by. We made use of the Jacuzzi several times.

Service was slick and professional by all staff. The excursions were expensive, but we pre-booked and went out almost every day. There was lots to do and see. I particularly enjoyed the trips to the Vega Archipelago and the Atlantic road.
