Cabin: Junior Suite

My husband and I have cruised on the Independence several times and love everything about it, the staff are always friendly and helpful, we like to stay in a junior suite as we like the space and balcony, our cabin steward was excellent too. We prefer to eat in the windjammer most nights as it gives us the opportunity to be more flexible with meal times . The service in the dining room is superb and the food is better some days than others. We enjoy eating in Chops but our favourite is Giovannis. Entertainment is good most of the time but the ice skating shows are the best. The gymnasium is excellent and well equipped with a fantastic view. There is plenty to do onboard whether it's sunbathing, swimming, flo riding, watching a movie or just having a drink, the choice is yours. I have nothing but praise for this ship so when I read negative comments from passengers who were on the same cruise as me, I wonder why.

Cabin JS

The cabin was perfect, well maintained, spotless and kept to the standard of Royal Caribbean, our cabin steward ( ashamed to say his name escapes me) was excellent and did a fantastic job.

Such an easy place to walk to from the ship
