Embarked at Adelaide on a16 day cruise of several Australian ports. The ship handled well in a force 7 gale at night with 8metre waves with no roll but with a gentle pitch to lull you to sleep. The public rooms are large and with 2700 people on board one never felt crowded,in some areas there were 20 to 30 people. This vessel is not for people who want nightclubbing. There are 2 floorshows each evening with singers, dancers& other international quests.Dancing in the Queens room every night accompanied by a full orchestra is a popular event. In the same room afternoon tea is served in a grand manner every day.We had any time dining in the Brittania Club restaurant where the food was of a very good standard. The wait staff & sommelier were knowledgeable and friendly. The guest speakers spoke about past court cases, forensics, astronomy,Wreck of the Titanic, and more.We found tendering to be very organised with care taken with older people.A true ocean liner in the grand tradition with lots of room without feeling cramped.

Cabin Review

Cabin BB

King bed plenty of space under for 2 cases good hot water supply for shower adequate hanging space in wardrobe.A recent innovation is a hot water kettle in the cabin. The balcony was steel,no wooden decking.Lots of rust on the steelwork.
