Just back from the Legend. Enjoyed many things about the Legend. Yes the ship is older but there is still much charm to be found. First our Cabin steward Iwayan was awesome. Everyday a towel animal and he remembered our names saying hi to us by name every morning. We left an item behind and I have great confidence that Iwayan will make sure it gets to lost and found. Second, we enjoyed Lee the cruise Director and much of the fun squad. They tried to keep everything light and entertaining. Loved playing Trivia, Bingo and scavenger hunts. We were in cabin 8151 - small but adequate. We did like the extended balcony on Tracy Fjord day. Food was for the most part decent but average. They could use some more dining venues for sure. Drinks were very good and the bartenders friendly. Made everything in a virigin form for my kids no issues. The only complaint here is that with the bottomless bubbles you have to go to the bar to get soda. I like the Royal Carribean model a little better with vending machines and special cups. It makes for long waiting having to use the alcohol bars for sodas. Casino was decent but smokey. Came home with a little cash. Excursions- I did not use Carnival for my excursions choosing instead to book privately. Can share those on excursion boards. The ship is heading for dry dock in 2018 and I am hoping they will make some much needed updates to eating and social venues.

Extended Balcony

Cabin 8K

Small but nice. Shower and lighting could use an update. Cabin steward was excellent and the extended balcony was nice for our view of the Fjords.
