This was our first cruise of any description and it didn't disappoint. The ship, accommodation and facilities were exactly as described in the brochure. Without exception the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The public areas were clean and comfortable. Evening entertainment was varied and good. The excursions were well organised with excellent tour guides. Offering different levels of activity was an added bonus and suited all abilities.

Only a few minor issues, the 'English bacon' was definitely not English bacon and the soup spoons were more like tablespoons! Also would have liked to see the bed linen changed more frequently (the towels were changed daily).

We chose the cruise to fit in with our ruby wedding anniversary and definitely made the right journey from Amsterdam to Budapest. To journey the reverse route may have been a little disappointing as to end with a night cruise of Budapest was truly special. Read more
