Took this trip with 10 other people, including one 12 year old. Embarkation and Disembarkation went well but was slightly confusing as there appeared to be both cruisers coming and going in the same area in Seattle especially upon arriving back.

The weather for an Alaska trip was perfect. No rain and sunny and warm. Kids were swimming in the pools throughout the trip. The rock wall was fun and entertaining for our 12 year old. The ship was beautiful and well maintained. Staff was very attentive, respectful, and polite. Loved the pampering in the spa. Shows were entertaining especially Tim the comedian and Angels, the acrobatic team. Food was very good and plentiful. Loved the chocolate lava cake on the dining room menu. We did not eat in the speciality restaurants on this trip but have on a previous cruise. All were very good.Buffet would get crowded and at times it was difficult to find seats especially if you have a bigger group. Plenty of variety to choose from.

We had a mid ship balcony cabin. Would highly recommend this as you don't want to miss out on the scenery. Saw some orca tails and fins, Salmon, and the glaciers are spectacular. Booked all excursions off the ship. Cheaper than booking on the ship. No issues with returning on time. The guys went Halibut fishing with Adam from the The Local Guy charter in zJuneau. They had a great time and caught fish!

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

The cabin was adequate size for a cruise ship. Don't expect to move around without getting close to your significant other or cabin mate. The room was well maintained and there were no issues with anything not working. Luggage was stored under the bed. Our room attendant kept our room very neat and clean when we were not there. Definitely get a balcony when going to Alaska. You don't want to miss the views. We were able to get phenomenal photos at Glacier bay when the top decks were crowded.

Port Reviews

Seattle

Explored the city. Did the underground tour. It was fun and educational. Took a ride on the giant wheel, and visited the aquarium. Lots of interesting fish and aquatic animals.

Ketchikan

Spent time exploring the town and visiting the ships. Fun time but no time to book an excursion as well.

Victoria

Visited in the evening. The old town is a cab ride away or a 25 minute walk. Very pretty city. Visited the fisherman's wharf and did some shopping.
