This cruise was a mommy daughter trip for my daughter and I who also just turned 10 the week prior. We flew down and stayed at the La Quinta in Westbank, which I do not recommend ( dirty rooms and Im pretty sure they had bed bugs) Upside they were really close to port maybe a $9 Uber ride to port. This was my first cruise so I do not have much to compare it to. As soon as we got on the boat we ate lunch ( I had Guy's Burger, which I ate for lunch most days, and my daughter had the pasta bar then we went straight to the pool. My daughter spent the most of her time at the pool and kids club second. She liked Kids Club but that was never her first choice. She knew the ship like the back of her hand after the first night. I was still trying to figure out if I was in the front or the back on day 4 lol. The restaurants were nice. I loved getting a 3 course meal with no bill at the end. That lobster, crab cakes and creme brulee were my favorites. The shows we ok. I wasn't overly impressed with Motown show but I know a lot of people liked it. The Lip Sync Battle was fun and the Kids Club got to perform during that show. My daughter loved that. I only got one excursion from Carnival. The sting ray excursion in Cozumel which my daughter loved. She said her favorite ports were a tie between Roatan where we did Daniel Johnsons Monkey and Slot hangout and Island tour and Cozumel Snorkeling with the Sting Rays. In Belize we did cave tubing with Butt's Up . All of our excursions we great. The 2 we booked outside of Carnival were a great value since the ship was selling similar excursions for way more. We had a wonderful time and in Belize my daughter was already talking about the things we could do the next time we are there lol. I would def sail with Carnival and Carnival Dream again. They made our mommy daughter trip really special! Also the Green's Eggs and Ham Breakfast was the cutest!

I love this room. It had 2 porthole windows so I got to see the water in the mornings and the land in port days. For the price the room was great!
