Traveled with children

We decided to book this cruise as it ticked all of our boxes for a family and for our first cruise! The ship caters very well for all age groups of children The Teen Club was a good meeting point for our eldest aged 17 sadly our 11 year old felt the age 9-11 group was a little too young for her in the activities.

We did all of our homework before the trip and decided to discover the Port or nearby City Town by ourselves by all accounts this was the best idea - we managed to see an do everything on our wish list and without any hitch !

We watched most of the entertainment either in the Theatre or on the Ice Rink and Yes we fully enjoyed !!

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

Cabin always lovely and clean - our attendant and his colleagues along Deck 8 were always so happy cheerful and welcoming

Port Reviews

Gibraltar

We were hoping to pick up a mini bus excursion straight off the ship however they were all snapped up very quickly - so we did a wonder of the shops and stop off for a drink and then joined the queue in the taxi rank - This did go down fairly quickly and we were soon on our way we paid 25 pound each for a tour of the rock and the caves.

Villefranche

Lovely to just take a stroll round the little village of Villefranche the little market was pretty and a few hours in the beach was very relaxing - We ate in one of the beachside restaurants only some brushetta but it was very tasty !!

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Yes it's a bit of a trek from the port however the train station within easy reach the staff spoke perfect English and were very helpful we purchased both out train ticket and open top tour ticket in the station 6 euro each - this was the slow train approx 1 hour 15 mins -

the open top tour bus station was a few minute walk from the train station we managed to see all of the spectacular sights on the bus with a stop at the Vatican City for a closer look and be on route back to the ship for around 4.30

Florence (Livorno)

Loved Piza decided to offer it a little more time than a drive by so we took a mini bus from the port who dropped us than returned to collect us about 2 hours later Perfect !!

Malaga

We Docked in a perfect spot to just wonder into Malaga's shops and restaurants this was plenty enough for us to do !

Lisbon

What better way to see this place than on the back of a Tuk Tuk very chilled trip around the City our driver full of information and facts worked out around 100 Euro but we really enjoyed it !
