The Allure has so much to offer for any age group! There was so much to do, so many places to eat, lots of great entertainment, and our itinerary had enough time for us to explore it all. The food in the main dining room was excellent and our servers were just wonderful! We ate at most of the included dining areas and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meals. We did not dine at any of the other restaurants that have extra fees. The service all over the ship was great. Our stateroom attendant kept our room impeccably clean and was so attentive. And we loved our balcony room on deck 11. Mamma Mia, the Aqua Show and Blue Planet were great! We did make reservations for each, which was a good idea. We stayed on the ship in Nassau because we have been there so often. We loved St. Thomas and very much enjoyed to gondola ride up to Paradise Point. St. Kitts was very nice, also. We took the trainride around the island...interesting history and great rum drinks! We would LOVE to go on Allure again, and hopefully take our children and grandchildren. They all would have an awesome time, as we did!

Fantastic 40th Anniversary Cruise!

Cabin Review

Superior Outside View Stateroom with Balcony
Cabin D6 11218
We loved our cabin setup. The bed was near the balcony and the couch was near the closet, giving us extra room to get to the closet. It had plenty of room, shelf space and closet room for the two of us. It was midship. It was halfway between elevators, which made for a good distance to walk no matter which way we wanted to go, but we needed the exercise!

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Scenic Railway
We thought this train ride was very informative, and the views were beautiful. The staff is VERY well organized and attentive. The drinks were tasty! Each train car has its own bathroom...very helpful. At the dock we were escorted to a nicely air conditioned bus, which took us to the depot, then guided to the train car where we had our own attendant, and escorted back to the bus and taken on another tour of the island on the way back to the ship. Enjoyed our excursion very much!

The skyride was fun and the views are AWESOME!!! Well worth the taxi ride to get there. You have to have a Bushwacker...best Caribbean drink!
