This is our 8th or 9th RCL cruise but the first time on one of gigantic ships - the Oasis. Way too many people! Can't get near a pool or hot tub, there are lines at mealtimes into the Windjammer café, if you don't make reservations (way before your cruise) you'll never see a show. The bars, shop events are all jammed packed and the noise level in the public areas is deafening. This is the first time we felt that we were constantly harassed to spend more money - you can't move without a staff person shoving a purchase form for: drinks, or photo packages, specialty dining reservations, spa treatments etc. let alone the suggested "leave another tip" as the prepaid 18% isn't enough? hence the timeshare presentation title. If you have cruised with RCL before and have Crown and Anchor perks, don't assume you will automatically be given them. I am still waiting for my bill to be adjusted. Most disappointing was the lack of attention to details: our refrigerator didn't work, we reported it the first day, nothing done. For the second RCL cruise within one year, we booked massages on the beach and got bumped for lack of time despite having the first 2 appointments of the day. This also reported to Guest services and spa, the spa manager never did contact us and the Guest Service rep. never did adjust our bill as promised. Any finally the worst bedding ever, the pillows were cheap, thin, and rock hard! I asked our steward for a different one and got another of the same. There are not shows every night and those that did have are heavily into gymnastics.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

Not as much storage in either the bathroom or cabin as other ships. We travelled with 6 adults, 2 side by side cabins and it was tight.

Port Reviews

Falmouth

We went to Red Stripe Beach, got the bus ticket on our own. Got to the Trolley area and look for someone selling tickets, they didn't have their own kiosk.
