We won our cruise from a casino. We had the choice to go anywhere Carnival sailed. Always wanted to see Alaska. Our favorite spot was Skagway. The town is so quaint. We did the White Pass train ride. In town we saw the brothel and had a beer at The Red Onion Saloon. Loved Juneau as well. Did the Mendenhall Glacier tour, lots of trails to walk. Took a ride on the Mount Roberts Tramway, fast and fun. In Ketchikan we saw a lumberjack show. Walked down to Creek St, very quaint area. Victoria, B.C. was not a great spot only a few hours from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

The Carnival Legend is an older ship. Pools were not heated but on this trip many people were using the pool. I had a massage in the spa and it was so relaxing. Our stateroom was very clean. No complaints about Javier and his staff. The main dining room food was quite good. The Lido buffet was what you expect from a buffet. We listened to many different singers in the lounges and saw a show. Entertaining, but not overwhelming. When you gamble in the casino they treat you very well, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate chip cookies and specialty dinners were some offers people received. Overall a fabulous trip. The weather was perfect, warm, sunny and no rain! Recommend to all.

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Plenty of room, three closets plus draw space. Bathroom had counter space plus glass shelves on either side of mirror so didn't need to use counter. Small balcony but great for two people. Bring extension cords, still only one plug.

Victoria

Not enough time to do much, evening and many things are closed.
