The Allure of the Seas is a great ship. Never felt like 6,000 people were sailing with you. The ship has so many activities and different opportunities for entertainment. The dinner options were plentiful and we spent most of our dinners in the main dining room. There were minimal inconveniences and disappointments. The pool for adults and hot tubs near the solarium were great. Learned the hard way that you must wear flip flops or pool shoes because the deck is extremely hot. Experienced the Miami Vice drink for the first time which was wonderful Half strawberry daiquiri and pina colada. Enjoyed watching the flow rider and did play mini golf which was fun. The shows at night were major productions and well done. The Aqua Ocenarium diving show was phenomenal and the blue planet was great. The ice skating shows were fine and my son enjoyed his time on the ice. Nassau was okay. We did the dolphin encounter which was great but the trip there and back via the boat ride was long and Nassau had very little time. The beach in St. Thomas (Meagan's Bay) was great however the tour provider cold not be understood by the participants with his thick accent. But he was nice and got us where we needed to go. Shopping was fun for the family on St, Thomas. St Kitts was also great with friendly people. Shopping was again fun with the advice from Kimberly Rose the ship shopper. The ladies in the family had a great time.
Minor issues concerned the app for the customs did not work right so we had to wait in line on the way out. Need to tell passengers that they should do the app on the morning of departure. The departure instructions were not crystal clear. We had heard on line that you could bring extra plug chargers. They were confiscated by security and we picked them up on the way out. So do not bring any additional plugs. It took forever for security forever to notify us they had our suitcase and they were not the friendliest group. They need to have better skills in communicating with the passengers.
Getting back on the boat in Nassau took forever and it was because one line was shut down and they did not have good organization of the return. That improved in St. Tomas and St. Kitts.
Cabin was fine with plenty of space for clothes and the bed was fine. Used the safe and the shower was fine.
