We chose this trip out of Berlin, on the Elbe river because we had spent the previous week in Poznan, Poland with our family. We came back a day before our cruise started and were able to stay at the InterContinental Hotel where our cruise group gathered. Devon our cruise director that we met in Berlin was so gracious and knowledgeable about all aspects of our trip, and the staff members were so accommodating and fun to be around. They thought of everything to make our trip the best my mother and I have ever had. Ella did such a great job keeping our room clean and inviting. The food on board was delicious and we enjoyed the wines and beer with our meals. We even had a German themed dinner, special farewell dinner, and the people we met were great. The shore excursions at our different ports were very interesting and well planned, plus the scenery was beautiful. The tour guides on the coaches were very informative. The thing we liked the most was that my mom could take a more leisurely tour and I could take the walking tours. The entertainment and activities on board were fun. Our days in Prague before we came home were so nice, and Viking provided a shuttle service that went from our Hotel to the main square. It was also comforting to us that we were taken by coach to the airport and everyone was helped to get to the right area before flying home. My mother and I made the best memories, and I am looking forward to taking another cruise with my husband.
