Boarded ship on the 5th August at Palma, cabin was really a good size on deck seven. Looked round the ship which seemed really good as we have been on quite a few thompson cruises and this was the most impressive of there ships to date. We then called in for a meal at the self service resturant the island, that's when things went down hill, we could not find a seat and the selection of food was poor, we thought it was because it was the first day? Next morning we called in for breakfast at about 9am unable to get a seat, I asked the waiter why there were so few tables his reply was just not enough for all the people, after a time we got one. Later that day the ship started to rock, my wife and many others were sick with the movement, half the pool area emptied with people being sick. Next day we again went for breakfast same problem. So we decided to go at 10.30 for our breakfast to miss the rush? Again I seats had to stand and wait for one, then the fried eggs were hard fried and some of the food was not there, as well as the staff cleaning and removing the food. Thursday night again the ship was rocking all over we had to g to bed early as you could hardly walk, people again sick. Overall the cruise was let down by the rocking of boat, which I can except I'm at sea, but the island resturant is a disaster it was to small, not enough tables, the food was poor, and a couple of times the staff were rude, this was our worse experience that we have had, but this was in Thomson control so for that there is know excuse
