We chose the Vista thinking that it would offer plenty of activities to entertain our two kids (12 & 7 years old). We were very mistaken!!!! Since reviews can sometimes be a bit emotional/subjective, I've tried to compile a list of observations from the past week in the hopes of helping other families make an informed choice: There was very little in the way of onboard entertainment that was appropriate (i.e. most movies/entertainment offered were PG-13 or 18+) and our 7-year-old was absolutely bored to tears in the club for his age group. The first Day At Sea, there was very raunchy adult dance/lip sync competition AT THE ONLY AVAILABLE POOL. I think the assumption is made that all the kids are going to be in the Kids Clubs and if you have a kiddo that likes that type of thing, it may work out fine. If you're trying to spend time together as a family, it will be challenging to find events/activities that aren't extra $$$ or appropriate for kids younger than 13. The pools were HORRIBLY overcrowded and the water slide lines went on FOREVER on the Days at Sea (took 45 min. for the kids to go down the slide once). Our overall dining experience was mediocre at best (Guy's Burger Bar is the one exception and based on the VERY LONG line EVERY DAY, we weren't the only ones that felt that way). The one decent meal on the trip was when we decided to fork out the extra $$$ for the Fahrenheit steakhouse. Do NOT waste your $$$ on the Italian restaurant...yuck. Don't know how meatballs can be gross, but they were. We aren't picky eaters and none of us enjoyed the meal. The highlight of this trip was the Vista staff. Everyone( from the Cruise Director to the Housekeeping staff) was absolutely lovely and worked so hard to ensure the guests were having a good time and that the facilities were kept as clean/tidy as possible. The Serenity Deck (adults only) is hot. Just so, so hot. Even the shaded cabanas were stifling. I heard quite a few adults disappointed because it was just such a poorly thought-out environment. No one really stayed for any length of time due to the heat. Maybe it would be better during a more moderate season of the year? The gym was a beautiful facility

So not worth the money that was spent :(
