Thomson organization of transfers and embarkation was excellent. Standard of service on-board and all inclusive drinks package could not be faulted. Disappointed with the quality of food and ambience in the self service restaurants and also with the fact that when joining the ship we were told there would no adults only pool area contrary to what was stated in the brochure at the time of booking. Would recommend the Orion open dining and a la cartes. Open dining is an excellent opportunity to meet fellow passengers at a shared table. Very much enjoyed the Broadway Shows and live music in Tides and Water's Edge cocktail bars. Pleasantly surprised with cabin size and storage. Although the ship is dated the service and administration from the crew more than made up for any inadequacies during the voyage. Overall we will reflect on positive first cruising experience and would consider a more up to date Thomson ship for another cruise.
