Traveled with children

Having 3 children aged 6,9 and 12, we had been looking for a cruise for a few years that was affordable for the 5 of us. We booked well in advance and managed a good deal aboard NCL with 2 cabins next door to one another. The whole cruise experience was very smooth from embarkation to taking delivery of our luggage. We found nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

All the food was piping hot and tasty though I would say the market cafe (buffet) was a bit maniac at times, especially for dinner and I found the main dining rooms were more relaxing.

The entertainment was of a high quality and even though technical difficulties towards the end of the cruise meant the planned show couldn't go ahead, the artistes got together from what we understand and pulled a show together that was very entertaining and professional. The guest acts - the Four Sea Sons were brilliant - great humour and moves and very likeable chaps.

Cabin IC

Cain was functional, loved the powerful shower. Housemaids were brilliant at tidying up and replacing towels. I had no idea what plug points would be in the room and was pleasantly surprised to see a european point, a uk one as well as a USA one and our uk appliances worked fine. Very comfortable bed, no problems with an inside cabin and very quiet
