We booked a cruise and stay in Miami for my 40th Birthday ŵith my husband and two children age 12 and 9. We stayed in south beach for 4 days , we did a city tour / boat and Everglades combo through Viator which was really good. Miami is a really lively, vibrant city but very expensive for dining and shopping compared to Orlando where you can get some great bargains.

The boarding of the Escape was really easy, the porters at the dock are happy to take your luggage for a little tip. You go through security line up to check in and then wait to be called to board. They laid on complimentary refreshments whilst we waited.

Once you are in the ship you are good to go, unfortunately for us the heavens opened up and put a dampner on the start of our cruise experience but by the time we set sail the sun came out and the sail away party was well under way with everybody in high-spirits for the 7 day cruise.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B3

The layout was good it didnt feel cramped even though there was 4 of us in the cabin the wardrobe space was very small for four people's clothing and there wasn't any draws for putting away stuff but part from that really nice. The bathroom is a good size lots of shelf space.

Port Reviews

Tortola

Not a lot to do in the port Town without getting a bus or Taxi as we were only there for a couple of hours we just looked around the shops at the port.
