I chose this cruise because HAL is reported as one of the best cruise lines for Alaska and I wanted to try a smaller ship. I looked for long port times and I heard that HAL always gets the best dock in town.

I enjoyed Alaska and I would consider another Alaskan cruise in the future.

The Noordam was disappointing and "just average" to me. The ship is dimly lit with low ceilings. Signage is small and the cruise just didn't seem to have much "life". Read more
