Overall: This was our 21st cruise on Royal Caribbean. Vision of The Seas is still a great ship although some of the areas are starting to show their age; but overall a fantastic Baltic Cruise. Had a Junior Suite on 8th Deck (back of ship) and top floor for cabins which made for great views especially when sailing into Stockholm Sweden. Our room was very nice with large balcony and the air-con worked super making for good sleeping and nap (recommend these) activities. Bathroom is large (tub with shower) and hot water worked although we had to get maintenance in to fix our shower as we were not getting hot water a couple of days into the trip. Once fixed, all worked well for rest of cruise.

Ship Crew: Fantastic - from everyone we met whether security getting on/off ship, to bar staff to anyone we met around the boat. They were personable, attentive and always had a smile and willingness to help. Special thanks to Robert and Peter in the Diamond Lounge and Carolynne in the Dining Room.

Ship: Areas around the ship were well maintained, and we never felt crowded at all except when in Windjammer before getting off the ship in a port or when everyone was getting back on after Gdansk. Windjammer food is OK, and we have to admit the food in the dining room was very good as it seems RCCL got the message to improve their quality. We ate dinner every night in the dining room except for 2 days. Spa and gym are nice but small – expected on a smaller class of ship. Headliner entertainment was overall quite good.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

We selected a cabin at back of ship (Junior Suite) which was perfect as every port we backed in and the balcony was huge.
