Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

This was our first cruise and will not be our last. We didn't particularly choose the ship, just where we wanted to go, but dropped lucky. We booked the excursions and restaurants prior to departing and it was really easy using the NCL website.

The embarkation was a little lengthy and although we had a time slot, it did not appear to make any difference. It is quite annoying when there are desks free with no staff to man them, although extra staff did appear and the queue went quicker. Once we got to the desk, it was very smooth and we were soon on the ship.

We upgraded to a balcony stateroom which was perfect for us, very clean, plenty of storage and well designed. We had a king size bed, TV, coffee and tea making facilities, safe, lots of hangers and a mini bar. The bathroom is a fantastic layout with toiletries and towels provided, the shower was amazing. The balcony had two chairs and a small table, great sitting out in the morning and having a glass of wine in the evening.

Very well designed, lots of storage, comfy bed, TV, safe, Coffee & Tea facilities, towels for the cabin and sunbathing. The bathroom was everything needed with a hot powerful shower. The room was cleaned daily and turned down in the evening, the steward very attentive.
