We took the cruise for a rest but our cabin (with balcony and bought early at "full" price) was badly affected by noise from the galley above - starting at 4am and finishing after 10pm. We found out that P&O were aware of the problem of noise especially with our cabin but they never warned us and were happy to take top dollar from us. To add insult to injury, we made a written complaint immediately whilst we were onboard but nobody contacted us. Then when we arrived home we logged complaints but still no reaction. The morals of P&O leave a lot to be desired and their customer service is ZERO. They are mercenary and don't care about their passengers, just the money. To knowingly sell a substandard cabin at full rate is a disgrace. Avoid P&O and ships in the Carnival Cruise Line. The food was mediocre with no fresh seafood and little fresh fruit. The entertainment was spectacular. The cabin and bathroom size particularly were good. Apart from having to deal with dramatic noise from 4am we had a good cruise but didn't get the rest we anticipated.
