Cunard is a little formal for us, having previously cruised with Celebrity and Holland America. We do not mind some formality, however the strict restaurant sitting times and fixed seating arrangements are a little over the top, especially if seated with people you cannot relate too. The food in the Britannia restaurant was a little inconsistent with average meals some days and below average on others. The Lido Buffet was a little boring and limited in choice compared to other cruises we had been on, however quality was good for buffet food. The recently upgraded cabins were fine, but we are not keen on the "shower curtain" as these can cling a little!!! Although the cabins have had an upgrade the TV stations are a little lacking and could do with "on demand" movies. Entertainment was a little boring and amateur compared to previous cruises. We could not fault on-board service with all staff being attentive and helpful. Overall we rate this cruise average at a 3 out of 5

Well appointed, just do not like the "shower curtain" A big plus is Tea & Coffee making facilities in your cabin.
