I'm still on the cruise..I have 3 more days left! I have cruised before, but never with P&O. Where to star..

ROOM. Dirty, a layer of dust everywhere, dirty door out to the balcony. Pubic hair in the bath...the bath which is also the shower, but you can't use the bath..The room is dated, we have two single beds pushed together, which you can feel. The decor is straight out of the 70s/80s. You even have to pay for the water in your room.

DINING. Appalling...cheap, bulk food, overlooked, and served below required temperatures. I was looking forward to the 'The Pantry' it was highly advertised as being 'revolutionary' 'new concept' 'greater choice and variety'. You can't serve yourself (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) however the food is slopped onto your plate, there is a total lack of variety, most of it is just left overs from the night before, put into a white bread roll, or turned into a curry or whatever they can think of. The complimentary coffee is like dishwater! The $3.30 coffee isn't much better. The salads were disgusting, enough said..they serve cheap thin sliced bread for toast that breaks up when you butter it...no section of bread rolls, cheap small white ones only! I thought not for me I'll try the Waterford..sit down fine dining...what a joke...worse than pub food..much worse, even worse than a bad day in a shopping centre food court! I then tried Angelo's you have to be in first as seats are very limited - not bad. The Chefs Table is another option.. only 14 people per night and you pay an extra $100 per person for it. The food was great and so were the wines. Honestly this is the level of expectation I had for the Waterford 'fine dining,. This is the level of dining I have previously experienced on other cruise lines which was part of the package deal.

Cabin Review

All I can say is never again with P &O and I would never recommend it to anyone I know.
